As a Water Treatment Specialist, you will install and service chemical water treatment programs and related controls for commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems. Candidates must have excellent communication skills to translate essential technical information to all levels and backgrounds of clientele.

Position Responsibilities
  • Manage Total Water Performance™ as it relates to cooling towers, boilers, chillers, heat exchangers, softeners, reverse osmosis, filtration, and similar equipment
  • Control damaging water effects of corrosion, deposition and biofouling
  • Minimize utility consumption
  • Maximize client return-on-investments
  • Implement customized turnkey solutions for clients
  • Perform complete water quality analyses
  • Interpret and communicate data trends
  • Optimize equipment efficiencies
  • Professionally report and summarize water and equipment conditions
  • Conduct facility operator training for clients
  • Provide preventative maintenance services
  • Operate and maintain water treatment equipment
  • Inspect and benchmark HVAC equipment conditions
  • Manage calendar to organize routine service and sales calls
  • Present and sell water treatment products and service contracts
You May Regularly
  • Manage multiple priorities
  • Solve tangible and intangible problems
  • Conduct on-site surveys to address client needs
  • Develop presentations and present proposed solutions
  • Run wet chemistry tests to ensure systems are within target parameters
  • Analyze data and graphs to optimize system efficiencies
  • Track and report client return on investments
Qualifications
  • BA/BS preferred in science or engineering fields (Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Environmental Sciences or related studies preferred)
  • 2 or more years of industrial sales or service experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with ability to prioritize work
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Proven problem solving abilities in mechanical, industrial and/or chemical environments
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • A “Do-It-Yourself” nature
